Taking the next step into Reiki Master is an important one. Becoming a master puts you in the position of role model to others, whether you teach or not. It is also a step towards and commitment to personal and spiritual development.

| Usui Reiki and Karuna Reiki ® |
Usui Reiki is the traditional form rediscovered by Dr Mikao Usui, who was born in 1865 and died in 1926. It is a Japanese stress reduction and healing technique. Usui master classes consist of 2 levels - ART (advanced Reiki techniques) and master/teacher.
Karuna Reiki ® was discovered and developed by William Lee Rand and is for Reiki masters. It uses sacred symbols & sound, working with higher spiritual beings. Karuna is Sanskrit for compassionate action.
You can take master/teacher level without waiting to take practitioner level first. |
| Master classes |

In order to take a Usui Reiki master class, you must already be attuned to level 2 and be working on your own healing. It is each student’s choice when they are ready to take this step in their development.
For Karuna Reiki ®, you must be a Reiki master for at least 6 months. Taking this training entitles you to be registered with the international centre for Reiki training as a Karuna Reiki ® master.

| Attunements |
|
As with all levels of Reiki, students can have a profound spiritual experience or simply a feeling of peace. There is also a 21-day clearing process with master level attunements as with all levels of Reiki.
There are 2 attunements given with Usui master classes and one with Karuna Reiki® master classes.
Attunements are always perfect for the student as they are adjusted by higher spiritual beings, the master acting as a channel. |

Master class content

Usui Reiki master is taught over one evening and a weekend with a follow up weekend offered after a practice period of 3 months. Class content may vary according to student needs.
- Usui Reiki history & a comparison with Karuna Reiki �and Sekhem�.
- Space clearing & psychic protection. Spirit release.
- Ethics & being a master.
- Meditation & meeting spirit guides/angels.
- Master symbols, meaning & use.
- Psychic surgery.
- Clearing & releasing emotional blocks to growth.
- Chakra development.
- Using crystal grids.
- Attunement process for all levels & practice.
- Healing & self-attunements.
- Manual & certificate.
Karuna Reiki ® classes are taught in line with the standards laid down by the international centre for Reiki training (ICRT) and certificates are issued by them. Master classes are taught over 3 days with follow up support offered. |

| Cost and Location |
|
Classes are run in Glasgow. Courses can be run in other areas for 2 or more people at master level. Individual tuition available at a small extra cost (£25/day) if specifically reqested.
